Q: My engine is leaking oil, even after I replaced the valve cover gasket. My valve cover is leaking oil, even after I replaced the valve cover gasket. A: The oil is usually leaking from the distributor housing. The fix is to 1)remove housing, 2) remove and discard old o-ring, 3)place bead of silicone in o-ring groove, 4) reassemble...the leak should be cured.
